Kendra Elliott leads customer acquisition via offline channels for Guthy-Renker. In her role as senior vice president, media, she manages a team of professionals acquiring customers via TV, radio, email, print, alt media, and direct mail for all G-R brands. With a view towards the omnichannel marketplace, her team supports acquisition efforts across the organization including home shopping, retail, and e-tail. As a member of the senior management team, Elliott influences creative direction, marketing, offer, and product development. Her team is also responsible for managing inbound telemarketing and script testing. Her passion is in developing and promoting relationships. Within Guthy-Renker, she is the chair of the G|R FUN committee, helping to develop activities promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork. Within the DR industry, Elliott currently serves as secretary of the board of directors for the Electronic Retailing Association. A member of the direct response industry for 27 years, she loves the frenetic pace of DR advertising and the immediacy of results. She began her career as an account executive at Williams Television Time where she managed such infomercial campaigns as Miracle Blade, Micro Crisp, and Kenny Kingston’s Psychic Hotline. She later worked as a buyer at Hawthorne Direct and as vice president of distribution at GRTV Network, one of the first 24-hour infomercial channels on DirecTV’s platform. Elliott is a native Nevadan who lives with her husband and son in Encino, Calif. In her spare time, you can find her either at Dodger Stadium, on the beach, or at one of her son’s sporting events.
